The Patriot League Meet for 2013 was in Sterling on Saturday morning, October 5th. It's a course the Bulldogs have seen before, but its been about 7 years since we were last here. The day starts off mostly overcast, a little breezy and chilly. But as long as it doesn't rain, we'll be ok!
The day is pretty gloomy, but there's nothing we can do about that. The Coaches have challenged us to step up today. We want to make a statement now and let people know we're still teams to be reckoned with. Let the day begin!
The Varsity boys are up first. Notice all the coats, blankets, gloves and headwear. Yes - it's COLD!!!
The guys finish strong. Now we'll wait for the results to see if we did as well as we think we did.
Meanwhile, back at the starting line, the Varsity Girls are ready to hit the trail. There's a bit of determination on their faces today.

The Girls took some major steps today. And even though it's freezing out here, they're pretty happy!
The JV Boys know they've only got a couple more opportunities to earn a Varsity spot. Today is very important for these guys.
The JV Girls have the same goals. One more run at a Varsity spot. Let's go!
The JV Boys have a great day and run some PR's. Then the crushing news comes. The lead runners led the JV Boys off the course - the didn't run the full 3.1 miles. JV times for the day won't count. What will count is their effort, determination and spunk. The guys accepted the challenge and rose to the occasion. It's a tough break, but not one that'll get these 'Dogs down. They gave it their best and had a great day no matter what.
The JV Girls get cheered on to the end and finish with some good kicks.
While we wait for the results and awards, there's always time for Ninja!
Isaiah Dilka, All-Conference in the Patriot League with a 4th place finish!
Jenna Ptaschek gets her medal for her 3rd place, All-Conference Patriot League finish!
Amie Bray gets her medal and accepts her 8th place, All-Conference Patriot League finish. All right Amie!!!
The 'Dogs were challenged, accepted the challenge and climbed the mountain today. It was important to step up.
Now we have to prepare for the next great challenge in 12 days - Regionals. If you're betting, bet on the 'Dogs.
